Painted Garden Swing 

The Heritage Swing is a swing seat that reflects Duckpaddle and our 30 years of experience in furniture making. Originally built to display painted trellis for a major garden show, the Heritage Swing very quickly became one of our most popular designs.

This painted garden swing is made from sustainable Pressure Treated Scandinavian Redwood, a high-quality frame supports a trellis structure and a traditional Red Cedar shingle roof.

The swing itself is a comfortable 3 seat, High Back Cradle and comes with a removable arm-rest centre table along with fixed drinks shelves on the frame sides. Our Beaumont swing cradle is an alternative seat option which also comes with a removable centre armrest. 

The main frame of the wooden swing chair can be painted in the above selection of Farrow and Ball colours or a Bespoke colour of your choice. Also available in a Natural finish.

Cedar Shingle Swing

The top side of the roof is made from treated baton, which the Red Cedar shingles are attached to. 

This garden swing seat requires a reasonably level, solid area as a base and we recommend where possible ensuring the base is a minimum of 150mm larger than the above dimensions so that the posts do not sit directly on the corners.

EXTRAS

• Our Beaumont cradle is an alternative seat option. Also comes with a removable centre armrest.

• A solid back is available as an extra. The solid back adds a tongue and groove back with or without Trellis.

• Custom-made recliner cushions are available in a set of two or three, currently in Taupe. Both cradles can accommodate the high back recliner cushions.
  

• A pair of curved frame footrests made from Red Cedar to match the roof.

DIMENSIONS 

The swing's footprint is 140cm deep x 225cm wide x 240cm high. Please also allow for a 200mm all round overhang of the Cedar Shingles on the roof.
